G. Harrell Gets Hosed...

Not only did his team get the a bad rap after a bad loss to Oklahoma (they did come back and beat a very good Texas team...short memory I guess), but now G. Harrell is not even invited to the Heisman Ceremony.

Like I mentioned, I do not think he deserved to win, but regardless, he deserved to be recognized.

Tim Griffin sums it up nicely here.

Also - check out this x-ray for his hand against Baylor.

My friend, Nick James, summed it up best via text message:

"In what fantasy land does it make sense that Graham Harrell isn't a finalist for the Heisman..."

Here in west Texas we couldn't believe it. Not only did he lead the NCAA in passing yardage and placed third in touchdowns, but TT TIED the Sooners and Longhorns as Big XII South victors. I agree that he may not have been the winning candidate, but it's a stinging slap to the face to not invite him.

*However, all was vindicated when he won the ATT NCAA Player of the Year, as voted on by the fans. At least the public recognized his great season, even if the "experts" refuse.
